bookscover2cover – Autobiography

More posts of mine have appeared at bookscover2cover; called The Autobiography of Sue Thomas Diogenes Blake – Part 1 & Part 2, they can be read by clicking on the links. These posts provide a kind of documentary or, if you will, mockumentary insight into the life and times of the author.

Another story of mine has been posted at bookscover2cover; called His Photographer’s Gaze, it can be read by clicking on the link. [Spoiler alert] The story was written as a deliberate riff on Browning’s poem ‘My Last Duchess,’ which still seems so modern when you read it. Very unsettling too.

bookscover2cover – Motley Feudal Ties

Another story of mine has been posted at bookscover2cover; called Motley Feudal Ties, it can be read by clicking on the link. I remember I borrowed a phrase from Karl Marx for the title because he seemed like the go-to-guy so far as the story’s theme was concerned.

And to finish, here’s The Smiths with the national anthem. All stand, please…

bookscover2cover – Corpus

Another story of mine has been posted at bookscover2cover; called Corpus, it can be read by clicking on the link. I wrote this story partly as an a exercise in atmosphere, partly out of annoyance with all of that true crime bollocks and partly to reclaim centre stage for one of the victims, for once. Essentially, it’s a political piece, probably.

And to finish, here’s Ella Fitzgerald –
