This poem was written in response to Carpe Diem #1249 despair, another great prompt from Chèvrefeuille at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. All of the poems in the link-up can be read here. And, to finish, here’s Eurythmics –
Could have been written by one of the classics Blake …chapeau.
I found it a bit tricky to get this haiku into shape, so I’m glad to hear it fell together okay in the end 🙂
