twilight born
on the bare tree’s silhouette
go three ravens

This poem was written in response to Carpe Diem #1220 Twilight, another great prompt from Chèvrefeuille at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. All of the poems in the link-up can be read here. And, to finish, here’s The Only Ones –
I enjoyed this haiku, the stillness but also a lot is happening if you are observant, as in nature. (I love this song.)
Thanks, yes, it was written from nature when leaving the office one evening as the sun was setting 🙂
And I agree completely about the song. There aren’t many Only Ones live clips from the ’70s but luckily this is a great performance.
The way you split up the lines here is expert, it really is!
Oh thanks, Jen! I’ve started reading haiku again and you start regaining an appreciation of the nuances, bit by bit 🙂
You’ve always been a master of nuance 🙂
