the full moon at twilight goes

“oh”

This poem was written in response to Carpe Diem #1060 twilight, another great prompt from Chèvrefeuille at Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. The Teardrop Lakes can be seen in the photo and provide a lovely setting for lunch during the working day, until you get bored with the job and bail, of course.

All of the poems in the link-up can be read here. And, to finish, here’s the Flamingos –

  1. Gorgeous, Blake — both the photo and the haiku. I suppose this is the site of many a haiku moment, right?

Might have to listen to this song several times. 🙂

    • Oh definitely, lots of haiku moments around here during the last 18 months. And I was always grateful to the job for that – but hey, I can always visit again as a “civilian” 🙂

I think I first discovered this song in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.. it really does draw you in, doesn’t it?
