This is quite a remarkable image …. I hadn’t envisioned the brass ring before. You always give the reader something totally unexpected … which is why I look forward to your haiku so much! 😀
‘Long linkage’ I find a tricky technique, I don’t know about you – similes and metaphors stay fairly close, as a rule. But this technique… :S
Anyway, from our office at tree level, with a very weird autumn light as dusk fell…
