summer gales tie the elms

Quite an image there, Blake — ! Really enjoying this one 🙂
Well, everyone else has been so senryu-ed up lately that I felt left out 😛
And what the June gales have been doing to the trees here…
Well, we don’t want you to feel left out — the more the merrier — or — um — well, you know what I mean 😉
Really though — very, very interesting! 😀
There is a tree with a large limb almost totally broken off just across the street. Yes, the gales of spring and early summer.
It can’t be an easy job, can it – standing out in the elements like that, all year, Almost makes me grateful I was born a human creature 🙂
A little gem full of different scenes and thoughts …. thanks for sharing.
Thanks, Chèvrefeuille. One of the elements I especially like about haiku is how the scene can shift back and forth depending on how the lines are read 🙂
